Get More Traffic to Your Site

Search engine optimization, or SEO, is one of the most extensive and complicated aspects of digital marketing.

In short, it’s the science and art of ensuring that search engines will show the right content to those looking for it.

SEO has developed into a more advanced and nuanced system over the past decade. You used to be able to dump keywords on a page or cheat the system if you knew how to hack it and rise to the top of search results with little problems.

But search engines, especially Google, have cracked down on these deceitful practices and have encouraged and rewarded a more holistic approach to search results.

Remember, Google’s job is to give you the right information, fast.

That means Google wants to make sure searchers find the best information for their search at the very top. So if your bounce rate is high (visitors leave quickly after visiting), that means the visitor expected something different or it took too long to load.

As the bounce rate grows, you’ll slowly fall down in the ranks because you didn’t provide the right information, fast.

SEO isn’t a quick and easy fix.

More often than not, it’s a relatively time-intensive process at the beginning and a slow trickle of constant improvement over many months.

But the good news is that if you’re falling in the ranks and want to rise to the top, it’s absolutely possible with a long-term investment strategy and we can help you get there.

So your question shouldn’t be IF we start improving SEO for your website, but how soon we can start!

Our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services are broken down into 2 phases: Audit Phase and Content Marketing.

1. OPTIMIZATION PHASE

We’ll start the process by performing a site audit to test its speed and performance, as well as:

a. Optimize website content to enhance your search engine visibility
b. Optimize site speed and overall performance
c. Perform in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and website rank tracking

The initial investment in this phase completely depends on the size and current health of your site, but an approximate 1x ballpark estimate will start around $1,500.

2. CONTENT CREATION PHASE

After our in-depth overhaul, the next step is to

  1. Create content for Google to find on your website, such as articles or new pages
  2. Create more occurrences of your business on Google, such as listing sites
  3. Create more opportunities for outbound links on your website (Google loves this!)
  4. Research and/or implement backlinks through potential partnerships (get other sites to link back to you. Google loves this too!)
  5. Then, if you really want to some more website attention, we’ll set up and run your Google ads!

Our ultimate goal is for your site to be on the top of the ad section, map section, and main search results.

This is not so much a 1x one-and-done task, but rather an ongoing investment in to getting your site to the top of Google. This takes time! And we can work at the pace that your budget allows.

Set Up Google Analytics Account

The most recent Google Analytics version, GA4, offers users greater information and insights into their websites and apps. Additionally, it enables organizations to follow customer activity across many devices and better understand their clients. So we need to make sure that our website is integrated with Google Analytics.

Check and/or Fix Sitemaps

A sitemap tells the crawler which pages are important in your site and also provides valuable information about these pages. So having an incorrect page in the sitemap can lead to poor indexing of your site. This can result in a decrease in traffic and ranking in search engine results. As a result, we need to remove this page from the sitemap.

Check and/or Fix Meta Descriptions

Meta Descriptions are important for each page because they provide information about that page and are also used by search engines to determine what the page is about and to show users in the search results. So it is necessary to create and update the Meta Description, which should be 140-160 characters long.

Check and/or Fix Alt Tags

Image alt tags are important because they provide alternative text for an image, help screen-reading tools describe images to visually impaired readers, and allow search engines to better crawl and rank your website. This is why it is essential to keep your website’s alt tag updated.

Check and/or Fix Headings

Heading tags are important for a website’s SEO because H1-6 tags indicate the main topic or theme of the page, search engines can better index and rank the page for relevant search queries.

Create More Internal Linking

Internal linking is important for both SEO and user experience. It helps search engines understand the structure of an article or website, and it allows users to quickly jump from one page to another for more information. It also helps to spread link equity around the website, which can improve rankings.

Set Up Google Search Console Account

Google Search Console helps website owners optimize their sites for search engine ranking, making them more visible to potential customers. It also helps to ensure that websites have no technical issues that could prevent Google indexing. By doing so, websites become more competitive in the online marketplace, improving their chances of driving traffic and increasing conversions.

Optimize Images (Smaller & Faster)

By optimizing images, you can create better user experiences, faster page loading times, and increase your ranking opportunities. So we need to make these images’ URLs are well-optimized.

Update WordPress, Plugins, Themes, SSL, and PHP

These updates are fundamental in site health! If you already have a maintenance membership with me, we shouldn’t have to do much here.

Create or Improve Google Listing

Turn people who find you on Google Search and Maps into new customers with a free Business Profile for your storefront or service area. Personalize your profile with photos, offers, posts, and more.

CSS Code Minification

Reducing the amount of code and markup in your script files and web pages is a process known as minification. It’s one of the main methods used to reduce the amount of bandwidth utilized and the load time of websites. A better user experience is obtained by significantly enhancing site accessibility and speed through minification.

Fix as Much Text to HTML Ration as Possible

“Most web pages are written in HTML code to display the page content (usually text). A page’s text-to-HTML ratio measures the amount of text on that page compared to the amount of HTML code needed to display it.” Read more here.

Fix Incorrect Robots.txt File

Robots.txt is a useful and relatively powerful tool to instruct search engine crawlers on how you want them to crawl your website.
